On The Move

When I returned from running around, thanks for the graves Maggie, they look great! I learned that mom had been told she'd be leaving today. Interesting since discharge planning said they hadn't called anyone due t the holiday and no one had been notified of any changes. I was able to check with her nurse, Mayet and learned that 6 north is a "progressive" floor, meaning patients are monitored and stabelized and then moved on. I guess that's what happening here. Some time tonight she will be moved to 8745, an ortho floor. It's my understanding that room is in the central wing. Guess I'll find out later.

Don't know if this will affect discharge planning, getting into rehab or what, but the fact that she is being moved to an ortho floor/room leads me to think she may get some PT. Would be nice.
